Our laboratory is recruiting graduate and undergraduate students in civil engineering, materials science, and electrochemistry!
The laboratory engages in various research projects through collaborative efforts with different industrial institutions and private enterprises. Students in the laboratory conduct research autonomously, participating in discussions with faculty members.
Monthly seminars attended by all members to report on research progress. Presentations at academic conferences are encouraged. Annually, the laboratory hosts an international joint seminar involving Japan, Korea, and China.
There are many international students, which offers opportunities to communicate in English, both for research and daily chats. Our laboratory also organizes annual Academic trip to foster camaraderie among members.
We loves to participate in sports game, especially badminton and softball.
We welcome students (Ph.D. and Master) who wish to enter graduate school!
We welcome students who aim to become university faculty members or researchers, as well as students with different specialties in majors other than civil engineering.
If you are interested in research on maintenance and management of steel structures, research on corrosion prevention, or research on concrete engineering, we would love to work with you!
Students from diverse academic backgrounds beyond civil engineering are also encouraged to apply.
If you are interested in research concerning maintenance and corrosion protection of steel structures, or research in concrete engineering, welcome to join us!
